Amazingly enough, I don't even have a fire cape yet. (lol) I would have had it today if Jad wouldn't have glitched.

Here is the reccommended setup for someone who is planning using the Guthans method

Ranger Method:

Alternet Ways for the not so rich people.

Neitiznot > Initiate > God Mitire > Rune Full
Fury > Glory > Stole > Defese Amuet
Karils Leathertop > Black D Hide body
Trimmed Cape > Accumulator > God Cape > Obsidian Cape > Regular Cape
Veracs Skirt > Initiate Legs > Black D Hide Chaps > Rune Legs
Crystal Bow x2 > Karils Bow with 3.5k Racks > Rune C bow 1K+ Mith Bolts (e)+
Ranger Boots > Dragon Boots > Snakeskin Boots >
Archer Ring > Recoil > Nothing
Barrows Gloves > Dragon Gloves > Rune Gloves > Black Vambs

Here are the waves in order:

60. 360 180 90 90
61. 360 180 180
62. 360 360
63. 702

But anyway, let's get started off with what the place looks like.

When you first go in, run directly to the spot highlighted in red. This is where you will be the whole time you are in the fight caves. This is aka, your base. You can safespot nearly every monster here, except the 360, and 90's.

Here are the monsters, in order, and how you should accomplish killing them.

Tz-Kih - level 22
This is probably the most annoying creature in the whole fight caves. Whenever they spawn, make SURE you kill them first. They drain prayer every time they hit you. Even if they hit a 0. They rarely do any damage, if any at all.

Tz-Kek - level 45
One of the easiest monsters in the whole caves. Avoid meeleing this guy unless it's absolutly necessary. They are like recoil rings if you decide to meele. If you hit them, you get hit a 1. They have 2 forms. When you kill the Single version of it, it breaks into 2 smaller monsters, that are level 22, and are the PERFECT monster for healing, if you decide to bring guthans.

Tok-Xil - level 90
This monster is definitely one that you need to protect range on while there are no 360's around. Their range attack is EXTREMILY accurate without good armor. Your best bet with these guys is to range them, or meele with guthans if you brought. If you are in a room with 360's and these guys, dispose of the 90's ASAP. They have fairly low HP, and be killed in an easy 5 hits.

Yt-MejKot - level 180
This fella' is only dangerous if you want him to be. He is the easiest monster to position in a safespot, due to his size. He uses meele based attacks that hit in the Mid 20's if you aren't carefull. If you are caught in a situation where you have no choce but to run through him, do so with the super defence prayer. This monster is best killed using range based attacks.

Here is a map that shows you (in green) where you can safespot him.

Ket-Zek - level 360
This is where the fight caves start to get hard. Anytime these guys are in the room, you MUST protect Mage. This is not one of the monsters that you should even attempt to meele. They have incredable Defence, and are best killed with range. Once you have defeated this monster, proceed with any other monsters you have in the room and prepare for the next fight.

TzTok-Jad - level 702
Jad. The strongets, biggest monster known in RuneScape. Always turn protect from range on after you defeat the 360 360. He can easily kill one person in 1 hit if you don't watch out. He spawns right after the 360 360 wave, and can be defeated as follows.

Jad will MOST ALWAYS spawn in 1 of 2 places. On the other side of your "base" or out in the middle. Now, if you are lucky, and he spawns in the Blue section on the picture below, you are in luck. You may turn off your range prayer, and pot up, if you havn't already done so.

If he spawns in the Purple region, well, all I can say is be ready for one heck of a fight.

So you are wondering, "How Will I know What Attacks He Is Using"?

Let's me sum this all up in a nutshell. After you complete the 360 360 wave, You will be informed that Jad is comming. Turn on Range and LISTEN CLOSLY to his attacks. If you hear a retributation prayer sound, quickly switch to mage and run to Jad. If you hear nothing and you get hit with what looks like falling rocks, run to jad and wait for his mage attack.

Jads Mage Attack: He stands up on his back legs and you hear the retributation noise. Quickly turn protect from mage on and watch for his next move.

Jads Range Attack: Jad will go up about half way, and quickly slam his feet on the ground. You have about 1 second to switch to range protect and wait for him to switch again.

Potting While In Combat: After Jad does one of his attacks, quickly switch to your inventory, pot, and turn back to the prayer menu. Repeat this until you have completly potted back up.

Once you have Jad at Half HP, his healers come along to save the day.

Yt-HurKot - level 108
These guys will spawn when Jad is half HP. Quickly attack them one at a time, then focus back on Jad. Repeat this until they are all focused on you, and not Jad

After you have gotten the healers focused on you, and it's just you and Jad, continue with killing him until he is dead.

After he falls, you will do the cheer emote, and will be transfered back outside with your firecape in your inventory.

Hope this helped anyone going for the Legendary Fire Cape in the near future Smile
